Toshiba Satellite L505-GS5037 is a nice laptop to insist, everyone could see it coming or not, whatever. It ’s fast and there is plenty of space for photos, music and video storage without removing the RAM, although it is an option for the future. I just loaded this laptop, I removed many programs that we do not need or want – from QuickBooks to Norton trial 30 days, Google Toolbar and other programs. I installed Open Office and later withdrew the MS Office Home and Student trial version. 7 Windows Home Premium is wonderful! I waited for Phase Vista was for the purchase because I knew that I had, Vista. The only thing I did not like, not that MS Word is included, but as I said, I solved this problem with Open Office and it works great. I also installed Mozilla Firefox as default browser, including a large number of add-on for Firefox, but left in IE.

Now the drawbacks:

Each examiner that the metallic sound speakers cited correctly, even if my son had no problem with them. I think Toshiba could have done better with the speakers, however.

Yes, you’re never far from his fingerprints, but they are almost all laptops, as these days? This is a nice shiny case!

Battery life is poor, but could not find a large laptop same price that incorporates all that promised better. My son gets about 3 hours of battery life while watching a DVD, surf the Internet and using instant messaging all the time.
