We picked this up at a dealer for only $ 233 for a P4 desktop XP to replace in our kitchen. Even though I’m not looking for a laptop, I could not resist the price tag, declutter around our kitchen table. Dual-core processor is slower than Windows 7 P4 notes, but the video is far superior, the sound is OK, good enough to replace your office speakers. I’ve always had problems with XP so hybirnation office requires a full boot, because I stop at the office when not in use. Win7 and the laptop in seconds … There are certainly better (faster) laptop out there for $ 100 to $ 150 more, but for the price and functionality of a Web browser, video player and computer e-mail, I could not be happier with HP Compaq CQ57-315NR laptop … It should be up to 5.5hrs battery life, which is disappointing is 2-2,5 hours at full brightness … may improve with a few cycles, but, as will be used primaraly be connected, no big deal … Po ’slow, clear and pleasant “15.6-, five pounds of weight was good and I found that the memory upgrade was shocked to 2 GB to 6 GB of only $ 20. I wanted to wait a little’ about HP Compaq CQ57-315NR because it seems beat the price of $ 233, but I went ahead with this simple upgrade … I also plan to use Bluetooth technology integrated with a compatible mouse.Read more reviews

Even though I was not looking for a laptop, I could not resist the price of our kitchen counter clutter. Dual-core processor is slower than the P4, Windows 7, according to ratings, but the video is far superior, the sound is OK, good enough to replace the office speakers. I’ve always had problems with hybirnation XP, so the use of office required a beginning full of when I stop in the office when not in use. Win7 and this laptop is ready in seconds … There are certainly better (faster) laptop out there for $ 100 to $ 150 more, but for the price and functionality of a Web browser, video player and computer messaging, I could not be happier with this laptop … Battery life should be 5.5hrs so far is 2 to 2.5 hours in full brightness disappointing … may improve with a few cycles, but again, it will be used primaraly be connected, not a huge deal … little ’slow, clear and pleasant “15.6-, 5 lbs weight is good and I was shocked to discover that the memory upgrade from 2GB to 6GB only $ 20 what I was to wait a bit’ on this point because seems to defeat the price of $ 233, but I went ahead with this easy to update … I also plan to take advantage of the building compatible with Bluetooth mouse.Read more reviews
