We purchased ASUS UL30A-X5K from Amazon about a month ago. It ’s really my favorite handheld I’ve ever had. It ‘really nice, thin and light. The keyboard is a good size, and mouse input is really good. Click on one finger you can scroll up and down with two fingers, right click with two fingers, and right click with three fingers. ASUS UL30A-X5K works very well for me. There are physical buttons, even if you do not like multi-shot on the finger.

The ASUS UL30A-X5K laptop works fine for Web browsing and word processing, all that use it for themselves. I would recommend to a friend for similar tasks.Read more reviews

I eliminated the problems of about 20 lines, perhaps such an event is another problem (which I had with my Acer netbook that I replaced), the elimination of accidental chance encounters with the mouse pad. The mouse pad is sticky, push your fingers is not easy (my Netbook Acer has worked very well). When speaking with a representative ASUS TEC, I turned on the laptop model number for him and read a tic-tic-tic ..sound for 15 seconds (perhaps a fan?). He did not know what might have been. I bought a security cable, to see that ASUS hole too small for the cable, I bought the size (the size that I found) is. When I have a small diameter cable can be the fear that it will be difficult to manage because ASUS UL30A-X5 is very near the outlet. The manual that came with the laptop is only a few pages. I tried to set the voice recognition, but could not hear a sound. I called a representative of TEC wonder where the integrated microphone, and after almost literally on ice for 15 minutes while searching the place and I’m hooked rephoned. The representative, after a while, ‘Mike is the orifice and we found that works (but not enough for speech recognition). He also told me how to download the full manual. Before I found a manual adjust there, I called tech support to see that the four symbols that are just below the mousebar and five minutes to determine what they represent.

I spoke with three men and all had to understand the language heavy (with headquarters in Fremont, CA) (but I lost my hearing, so maybe the problem), a woman was easy to understand. Yesterday (I had two days to laptops), then mad, the battery indicator says + 2:00 remaining, but when I plugged in the power of the screen to a normal life. For a 64-bit dual-core, it seems slow, but the Internet could be a problem. I am not an expert on laptops, ASUS and I would make things easier for us beginners. I returned the laptop, but leave the country .Read more reviews
