Here you will find a lot of feedback in terms of equipment and can also compare gaming laptop configured and you will see that the hundreds of dollars less. I had the car for almost two weeks of games 1-2 hours per day.
ASUS G73JH-A1
Strengths
Why not a single technical problem
The volume and brightness controls Do not Bring Me the desktop for the game (as is my previous HP)
HDMI for HDTV is Plug and Play (video and audio)
Now for the match game
I played with AA (anti aliasing) of the maximum, then return to the gameplay very smooth. These are the games I found the notebook, press and most of them (the settings will be very playable at native 1920×1080, I do not use vsync):
Crysis / Crysis Warhead – no AA, almost all parameters of High /
Batman AA – High
RE5 – All Max
Lost Planet Extreme Conditions – HDR environment, while the max
Prototype – MAX
Wolfenstein – All Max
Borderlands – MAX
Red Faction Guerrilla – No AA, almost all on Max
Any game older (and new), the G73 only by air (as GOW, UT3, Dark Void, L4D, TR: Underworld), I found the Unreal engine very well maintained.
I can not believe how ASUS G73JH-A1 laptop runs the game in 1920×1080. Stay cool and comfortable. The audio is decent enough, even taking care of small quantities of prototype-edition (only Crank It Up!). I was on portable games for over 12 years (there is no room for desktop platforms) and I’ve never had a gaming laptop, has always had to compromise graphics. Not anymore. Play at 40-50 fps is definitely a positive change.
