I bought Acer AS5253-BZ602 laptop a few weeks away from Newegg, and so far so good. Please note that your computer is not built for games. I am a graduate student and Acer AS5253-BZ602 works fine for everyday tasks (eg MS Office, Internet browsing, streaming video, etc.). I was also in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 very well (for those unfamiliar with AutoCAD is a writing software for engineers who need a fair amount of CPU and RAM)

Pros:

Full-size keyboard, which is a numeric keypad on the right side
Surprisingly lightweight for a 15.6 “laptop
Love on the screen with LED backlight
Manages several programs at the same time very well
-Acer AS5253-BZ602 comes with a webcam (new to me. The last time I bought a laptop computer was 5 years ago, when I came to school on any standard laptop and webcam)
decent speakers for a laptop
Battery life is pretty darn good, considering the brightness of the screen.

AGAINST:

Bloatware-. But this new PC does not come with bloatware. Simply remove to avoid the big problem for me
Trackpad is sensitive enough, but I still use a mouse for me
No MS Office, only the trial version. It ’something I really wish that computers were equipped. I mean, I understand that Microsoft is trying to make a few dollars more, but I’m not rich enough, Bill? Luckily I can get a good deal for Office 2010 as a student
The battery life is not so good when the brightness all the way up

Acer AS5253-BZ602 is a big-budget PC can handle the needs of consumers on average. If you are a student or simply someone to have a computer at home or at work and try to save some $ $, I recommend for you.
