HP Pavilion DV6-2162NR is a very nice laptop. Highlights:

The Core i3 is fresh and fast
The 15-inch screen is bright and clear
The 500GB hard drive is a good size and 7200 rpm (many notebooks in this price range, min only 5,400 rpm)
The keyboard is comfortable and has a numeric keypad. At the top is a volume control Soft touch pad style / mute.
Synaptics trackpad is slightly different, I’m used to that of a silver material, but, like all others, has an area dedicated vertical scrolling, but does not seem to support two finger scrolling, even after the driver support of installation for him.
Not too junkware remove pre-installed.

I just got one of these and I like it. I complained about the comments that Apple does not try to read things more CPU or i5 machine at 13 inches. True, he decided to use the Core 2 Duo, but is not bad. It ‘a stable, Cool Running, more capable processor. The machine now includes 4 GB of RAM and a video card is much better than the previous version. I play rarely. I would not for a laptop video work when I need to have an office. I run Office applications, Safari, Mail, take notes, and Skype. All this works very well. Performance that this thing flies! I used this laptop for several months and am very happy.

The bad:
-Comes with a smaller battery capacity than the standard UL80. Not less than 11:00, and the power saving mode.
Touchpad is very sensitive and interferes with your machine if you accidentally touch.

I bought HP Pavilion dv5-1251nr in June 2009 by an American department store.

Toshiba Satellite L505-GS5037 is a nice laptop to insist, everyone could see it coming or not, whatever. I just loaded this laptop, I removed many programs that we do not need or want – from QuickBooks to Norton trial 30 days, Google Toolbar and other programs. I installed Open Office and later withdrew the MS Office Home and Student trial version. 7 Windows Home Premium is wonderful! I waited for Phase Vista was for the purchase because I knew that I had, Vista. The Media Smart App is really good for HD, much better than Media Player I think. IDT options are great, especially for creating an artificial depth of field of tiny Altec Lansing – not bad, either. The pad is wide, built with a scroll bar, the keyboard is large and has a keyboard, a microphone and dual headphone jacks on the head, and not too difficult or – I mean, I could go but go get the point .
